We took our name AMFORA from the wheel-thrown Amphorae terracotta containers that were used by the ancient greeks and Romans as the principal means for transporting and storing grapes, olive oil, wine, oil, olives, grain, fish and other commodities. The health giving medicinal effects of essential oils from plants and flowers have long been recognized as well as their ability to promote health and beauty of the skin. All AMFORA products are also enriched with nutritionally valuable Vitamins D, A and E for optimal healthy skin. Our scientifically pH balanced formula of essential vitamins A, D and E and omega 3 & 6 oils provide optimal skin nourishment to maintain supple, smooth and youthful looking skin.
We purposely add Vitamin D because so many people are deficient in Vitamin D which is essential for good skin health. We have developed specialised formulations for facial areas and general body areas. Our Facial serum is lighter and designed for delicate skin areas. Our Body serum is formulated to penetrate dry, calloused and rougher areas such as knees, elbows, feet and hands.
